Gardd y Môr
In October 2024, Sea Trust was delighted to receive funding from the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust Force for Nature grant. We set out to create a biodiverse garden, in an unattractive concrete space, that is accessible to everyone in the local community. A garden that would increase biodiversity, with an educational purpose of raising awareness of the importance of pollination. A place to contemplate the sea and connect with nature. The garden does exactly what we want it to do – a beautiful space for all to enjoy – highlighting the areas of pollination and climate change.
Come and partake in our adventure activity sheet with a small prize available on return. Enquire more at Ocean Lab Reception, Open 7 days a week 10am-4pm!
Accessibility and Inclusion
We are committed to making our space as accessible and inclusive as possible, everyone is welcome at Ocean Lab.
Our aquarium, gift shop and cafe are wheelchair accessible. Blue Badge parking is available in the council car park directly in front of the building, with level access and a dropped curb between the parking area and the entrance. Please note that our entrance doors are not automatic. However, a member of our team is always available at the reception and cafe desks are near each entrance and will be happy to assist with entry.
We have accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities available for visitors.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Ocean Lab, including in the aquarium and cafe.
For visitors with sensory needs, we offer ‘Quiet Slots’ in the aquarium upon request. During these sessions, lighting is lowered, music is turned off, and visitor numbers are reduced. To book a Quiet Slot, please get in touch through our ‘Contact Us’ page.
